Sheriff Lodge

...and why we don't do them.

When we first bought Sheriff Lodge we toyed with the idea of providing an evening meal for our guests (which we can actually do but not on a regular basis - more for our Lady business guests in the Winter months who don't like to venture out in the dark). Then we found our very own little local pub that does an excellent standard of food and top notch ale.

The Sycamore Inn
This little gem is situated less than five minutes walk from our front door and has recently been taken over by Becky. Inside are two interconnected bars.
The Sycamore provides an excellent standard of beer with Black Sheep, Adnam's Broadside, Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Bass on tap. Becky serves food at lunchtime and in the evenings.

The Food
The Sycamore offers a good variety of food which is cooked to order.
