Drawing Room
Feel free to relax in the spacious surroundings of our Drawing Room. Here you will find daily newspapers, books and music to help you relax whilst you are with us.
Tucked away in the corner of the room is a refrigerator which contains orange juice and bottled water -
Sheriff Lodge is now a BYO property -
Children are very welcome in the Drawing Room but we would appreciate constant adult supervision of the little ones whilst you are with us.
The Bedrooms
Each of our beautifully set-
The rooms also have hospitality trays with a wide variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and Horlicks. There is also a hair dryer and there is access to a an ironing board and an iron.
In addition each of the rooms has a television and DVD player (with a selection of DVD's in the Drawing Room for your use). The televisions have the added feature of being able to tune into the closed circuit television camera permanently pointed at the car park.
To round off the individuality of each of the rooms they each have their own work of art specifically tied in to the identity of the room
The Mousehole

The Dray
This is the home of our very friendly squirrel. Fortunately he doesn't take up much space and he more than welcomes friendly guests. The Dray is also a twin-

The Loft
In your lofty perch on our second floor you have
spectacular views across the Derwent Valley.
The Loft is Sheriff Lodge's Owlery. Look out for his portrait above the doorway.

The Nest
...is also situated up on the second floor. The Nest houses a little family of blue tits lovingly painted high up on the wall above the window.

The double bed in this room is also seven feet long and five feet wide -
The Warren
This suite (which is situated in the basement of Sheriff Lodge) has its own separate entrance (which is for dog owners to allow access to the garden) and has a double bed (7 feet long by 5 feet wide) and up to three single beds. Which gives the suite a capacity for five people, and if we put the cot in as well then the whole family can come along.
The headroom in this room is limited -
There are two televisions, one of which has Sky TV. Both of them have DVD players and one has a Playstation 1.
The Warren is also full of a large variety of board games -
If you choose to book this room you will have the suite to yourself and the sole use of en-
