How about a two-night package that includes chocolates on arrival and dinner at a superb restaurant in Matlock's town centre.

The cost of £235.00 includes a two- course set menu dinner plus a bottle of house wine (white or red) at Stones Restaurant, two nights here at Sheriff Lodge, bed & breakfast, chocolates (from a local chocolatier) and silk rose petals scattered on the bed. (If you wish to choose from the a la carte menu at Stones then all you need do is settle the difference with them after you have eaten).

The Shalimar Indian Restaurant is situated a short journey away from Sheriff Lodge between Matlock and Rowlsey on the A6. Why don't youo take advantage of a little industrial heritage and take a trip for Sunday Lunch at this little gem of a place.

Simply catch the Peak Rail steam train from Matlock to Rowsley, have lunch and then catch the train back.
